Doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is good! The service was also great and the staff was super polite. The chicken and waffles were great, shaped like Texas, and just a little bit sweet. The burger was ex excellent.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. The guys had the Texas Sized Chicken Fried Steak. It was HUGE! The meat was tender. The breading was crunchy and the gravy was great! Others in our group had chicken tenders and said they were really good too. Our server was super sweet and welcoming. We're not from the area but were made to feel like we were regulars! There was really good live music too.

Amazing roadside cafe. Lil bit of Texas in the heart of Kentucky. Great home style cooking. I loved the award-winning Kurt burger. Super nicexstaff. Fast service. Very cool atmosphere. Check it out when you're in the area.

Absolutely amazing staff Crystal was our server she is amazing! Our food was delicious! Family of 7 and not 1 complaint! Food came out fast and fresh! Atmosphere was great! Will absolutely be returning next time we're in the area!

As a fellow Texan I knew we had to eat here. The food was absolutely amazing and great portion sizes. The service was a little slow but they have notes around the restaurant explaining why. All food is made to order when it’s ordered. There was also only two waitresses for the entire restaurant. Even with being super busy our waitress was very friendly and chatted with us. We even got to meet the owner and reminisce about good ol’ Fort Worth, Texas.

First of all, It was a hard decision choosing the Pork Tenderloin sandwich of one of those amazing burgers, but I’m glad I did. It’s so hard to find pork tenderloin sandwich at all and this one is amazing. Huge piece, tender, I had it fried and paired it with the home made Mac and cheese. My wife had the catfish. The piece was so big, it made the plate look small. She loved it. A must go to when you’re in this area code.

You will wait for your food, however, it’s 100% worth the wait! This is a hidden gem that needs to be on everyone’s bucket list. We plan on driving the 5 hours, one way, again JUST for the food.

Small town diner feeling, you will wait a little for your food. But if you make it to when your food arrives, you won't be disappointed. The servers, and cooks are very polite. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Also, they are very generous on portion sizes!!
